25% of the bridges in America are defined as deficient or obsolete. Just for the user information, that’s over 150,000 American bridges. It is a matter of time before one of these bridges just down, and collapses.

An argument for repairing the bridges before they’re broken includes an economic stimulation is providing job opportunities for the unemployed.

The government, however, has taken little to no interest in the issue. 

One argument could possibly be that the Obama administration would like to focus on improving the infrastructure of alternative forms of transportation. That’s just an opinion, though.
